Industrious and friendly optometrist, Andrea Neff, OD, is known for her excellent bedside manner and superior eye care services. Dr. Neff provides individualized optometric care at In Focus Eyecare in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Dr. Neff has diverse experience in all forms of ocular medical care. She completed rotations at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, where she worked in a full-scope ophthalmology environment providing pre- and post-operative cataract care, extensive diabetic care, and foreign body emergency care.
At the Eye Institute Pediatrics/Low Vision Centers at the Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Neff helped design and implement vision therapy programs and offered primary eye care to the pediatric population. She also performed comprehensive low vision exams to prescribe treatments and hands-on instruction for various optical devices, including telescopes, microscopes, magnifiers, and computer equipment.
Dr. Neff also finished two rotations in private practices: Eldredge Eye Associates in Langhorn, Pennsylvania, and Cassey’s Optical in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, where she offered primary care services, such as treating glaucoma and the pre- and postoperative management for LASIK® patients.
Dr. Neff has performed numerous contact lens fittings for soft, rigid gas permeable, and multifocal lenses. She’s also certified to fit Paragon CRT orthokeratology lenses.
Dr. Neff is a member of the American Optometric Association affiliated doctor.
Since 2005, Dr. Neff has been practicing in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Columbia, and Greenville, South Carolina, and in July 2008, she opened In Focus Eyecare in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Dr. Neff loves children and is a member of InfantSEE which provides free vision screening for infants. She’s especially comfortable with children and exhibits kindness, patience, and respect with a personable demeanor when performing children’s eye exams.
No matter the visual dysfunctions and challenges, Dr. Neff enjoys improving vision and general wellness and helping men, women, and children better navigate daily life. Dr. Neff ensures she spends ample time catering to the needs of each individual.
Dr. Neff is married and has two beloved children. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen on November 13, 2015. Dr. Neff enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending valuable time with her family.
Gina Martinsen, ABOC, is our office manager and SC licensed optician at In Focus Eyecare. Gina was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Dallas, TX and Charlotte, NC where she graduated from the Performance Learning Center. She studied Business Administration and Marketing at Catawba College. Gina and her husband, Joe, tied the knot in the spring of 2018 in Savannah and reside in Rock Hill. Her hobbies include cooking, shopping and spending time with her children and friends. She is the proud mother of two “stinkin’ cute” boys, Brayden and Jackson.
Gina began working at In Focus Eyecare in April of 2013 at the front desk and soon became our full-time optician and office manager. Certified by the American Board of Opticianry and licensed by the State of South Carolina, Gina is trained on the latest technology offered by the optical lens industry and is skilled at helping our patients choose the perfect lenses and styling frames for their lifestyles, personalities and vision needs. She is our frame adjustment and repair guru. Gina also works with our contact lens and CRT patients on insertion and removal trainings, fine-tuning prescriptions with Dr. Neff and placing contact lens and CRT orders for our patients. She has gained extensive knowledge of vision insurance plans and is our expert on optimizing your vision benefits for you. Sarah Pellicano is our Patient Services Coordinator at In Focus Eyecare. She joined the team in November 2022 bringing 5 years of experience in business. Sarah was born and raised in Rock Hill South Carolina and after graduating High School Sarah went to school to be a Dental Assistant getting a certification in 4 handed dentistry and becoming X-Ray certified. Sarah was a teacher for 2 years before changing careers and going to work in a senior living home before joining In Focus Eyecare. Sarah is a proud mother of three beautiful children Cameron, Angelo and Lexi Greigh. In her spare time Sarah likes to bake, read books, go on walking trails, paint and spend time with her children.

Madison Kitchen is Dr. Neff’s Assistant and Optometric Technician at In Focus Eyecare. She comes to In Focus Eyecare with four years of experience working multiple positions including vision therapy, technician and working in optical at First Choice Eye Care while going to school at WCU. Madison earned her Bachelors in Sociology in 2021 from Western Carolina University. She plans to attend optometry school in the near future. She was raised in Charlotte, NC. Madison had 2 cats. Madison enjoys showing horses, hammocking, watching Netflix and hiking.
When you visit In Focus Eyecare, you will see Madison working side by side with Dr. Neff to provide our patients with cutting edge eye care. She prepares patients for their visit with Dr. Neff by recording medical histories and taking or performing diagnostic tests such as autorefractions, retinal fundus photos, OCT, eye pressure, blood pressure, visual fields, topographies, refractions and color vision tests. She will contact your pharmacy regarding any pharmaceutical prescriptions that Dr. Neff may prescribe to make sure they are prepared for you. She will assist you with making appointments with specialists and any follow-up concerns that may need to be relayed between you and Dr. Neff. Madison also assists with our contact lens and CRT patients to train new wearers to insert, remove and care for their lenses, as well as, work with patients and Dr. Neff to adjust contact lens prescriptions as needed.
